WHISPER ALLEY were another bunch of rock and roll soldiers that were lost in the great Grunge-wars of the early nineties. Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, they toured the clubs, both as a headline-act and support to the likes of Dokken, Badlands, Jetboy, Bulletboys, Quiet Riot and Great White!
Their brand of hard-hitting Glam was a distillation of acts like early Motley Crue, Skid Row (“Slave To The Grind”-era), L.A. Guns and Quiet Riot, packed full of Metal-riffs and instant choruses and a whole load of attitude! Their life was seemingly one long road party as the guys used to party hard and endlessly. Sadly, like most parties, there must come an end to the frolics and festivities and Whisper Alley called it quits in ’94.
Their six-track demo-cassette released in ’92 with the title of “Disturbing The Piece” is here presented in the best sonic way, coupled with 4 totally unreleased tracks recorded in 1993, anything carefully remastered from the original master tapes!
Enriched by the usual de-luxe booklet full of unseen pics, flyers and memorabilia, this Cd will bring you back to an era where life was party, alcohol and fun!
