Hailing from Helsingborg, a coastal city in the South of Sweden, RED HOT were formed in the early eighties. Whilst initially they came armed with a huge Deep Purple fixation, the acquisition of second singer, Peter Wennerberg, saw him steer them towards bands like Treat and Europe!
In their 1983-1989 spanning-career the band recorded over thirty demos, and they’re all included in this beautiful 2Cd set collection, comprising of a 16-pages rich booklet featuring many unseen pics, flyers & memorabilia plus the complete band-history written by Hard-Rock specialist Rob Evans and a full remastered audio from the original tapes!
In Peter Wennerberg the band had the natural heir to Joey Tempest. Quite how a band with this talent and quality could go unnoticed even with the record-labels is still a big mystery!
